Simulation center
The simulation center (SC) was established in 2007 in accordance with the concept of reforming medical and pharmaceutical education in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The center is a structural unit of the NAO «ZKMU named after Marat Ospanov». As part of the educational process, students, interns, and residents master and practice practical skills using modern simulation learning methods, including the use of virtual simulators and robot simulators, which ensures learning in a safe and controlled environment.
The Center has 16 classrooms, a debriefing room. There are 78 simulators, training mannequins and simulators of 4-6 levels of realism in the main clinical disciplines. In the children's (neonatal) center of practical skills, located on the basis of the multidisciplinary regional children's hospital - 6 classrooms, 65 simulators and simulators in the areas of pediatrics.
The training center of the American Heart Association has been opened on the basis of the Center, where BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS standards are trained with the issuance of an international certificate.
